🧬 your energetic blueprint

Hi Reader,

The other day I found myself watching a video about this new workout to look lean & sexy in under 15min a day.

I scrolled down and was shown a powerful meditation technique that can 10x your productivity.

Then spent the next hour googling / fantasizing about this perfect body and focused mind that could be mine if only...

(ofc without actually trying a single of these exercises 🥲)

Let's face it, the wellness & self-dev industry is NOISY.

It can leave us feeling overwhelmed and stuck.

There’s a lot of information out there about what a healthy lifestyle looks like, from diet to stress relief.

But chasing the latest trends and impossible standards is NOT sustainable or even desirable for us busy mortals.

So how do you know what to focus on?

You could turn to ancient wisdom to gain some insider knowledge and create your personalised roadmap without all the fluff. 👀

In Yoga & Ayurveda, wellbeing is seen through the lens of our energetic body ~ how life force ('prana') is distributed according to our unique tendencies and constitution.

It might sound a bit out there but it's simple really.

Some of us run hot and others cool.

Some are more yin and others yang.

You might be steady as a rock (earth), a fluid shapeshifter (wind), or a blazing force of nature (fire).

This individualized approach recognises that nothing is right for everyone and everything is right for someone.

So when I’m considering which habits, rituals, and practices I want to include or discard, I ask myself:

  • will this bring me more IN or OUT of balance?
  • can it aggravate or pacify my energetic constitution?
  • how does it interact with existing patterns?

There’s a whole map of understanding you can use to work out whether something is good for your specific type or not.

You might've heard about the koshas, gunas, doshas, chakras etc. in yoga class but do you know how to use them in your daily choices?

This is something I love to explore with my clients to help them create a more empowering & intuitive self-care plan. 🫶

If you're curious to dip your toe in, this is one of the topic I'll be covering in my upcoming FREE masterclass 'Bold & Balanced'.

In this 1h live session I will share my 4-steps framework to creating a self-care plan that feels good, fits into your busy schedule, AND is adapted to your energetics type.

So you can say goodbye to those morning anxiety and midday slumps, and instead feel steady & resourced for life after work 😘

For my folks in Sydney, the famous Dance Yoga workshop is BACK on April 14th, 4pm at My Asana.

We'll let ourselves loose through intuitive movement set to rhythmic tunes.

This will be followed by an optional Restorative Yoga class to drop into relaxation & stillness.

Book directly through MindBody or write to me to save a spot!

Hi Reader, did you miss me? :) I blanked out on sending last week's NL because I was SO EXCITED about hosting my 1st yoga retreat! And it went amaziiiing 🎵 Finding SPACE was the main theme of the retreat and it was a great opportunity to reset in a supportive and quiet environment. The real flex though is how to bring this renewed energy, calm and balance within everyday conditions that are far from "perfect". When the phone is pinging every 5min, more work is added to your already full...

Hi Reader, It's good to be back! I just returned from 3 weeks in Goa (India) to connect with the land of yoga and deepen my personal practice. Do you know it was the first time I ever went to a yoga retreat? Of course I was like a kid at a candy shop 😇 I met the most wonderful teachers, made new friends, had an 'ashram'-like experience, immersed myself in the local culture... and filled my heart to the brim. Most of us look at the turn of the year as a time to look ahead. Instead I tried to...
