Unlocking your energy potential: 5 steps to reclaim your mojo πŸ’₯

Published 11 months agoΒ β€’Β 1 min read

Good morning Reader,

Do you ever feel like the whole world is on a constant energy high while you're dragging yourself at snail pace with nothing in the tank? Then this post is for you πŸ˜‰

Today I'd like to share the steps that helped me go from a chronic snoozer to a relatively balanced human being who can listen to & trust her own enegy to take her places!

The following steps helped me go from...

  • Not being able to get to bed before midnight
  • Waking up always late and feeling groggy
  • Having real energy dips that would disturb my day
  • Falling asleep in the middle of parties & even conversations
    (lol #truestory)

... to tapping into my inner energy queen who can now:

  • Wake up at 5-6am most days without feeling the pain
  • Naturally fall asleep under 15min whenever I want to
  • Feel like I have constant & stable energy throughout the day
  • Falls asleep in her bed instead of the couch at parties 🀣

So here you go! My 5 steps to reclaim your mojoooo πŸ”₯

1️⃣ Accept when your body needs rest

Trust me, your body knows best. Learn to listen to its signals and give yourself the rest you deserve. It's not a sign of weakness - it's a sign of self-care and wisdom.

2️⃣ Say goodbye to unhealthy stress coping mechanisms

No more turning to addictive habits or depriving yourself. Discover healthier ways to manage stress, and watch how much more you get out of your body when it's not dealing with constant pressure.

3️⃣ Upgrade your energy sources.

Time to prioritise sleep, nourishing food, and regular exercise. ⚑️
NOT caffeine, sugar, & adrenaline fuel.

I know it’s advice you’ve heard before but guess what? It’s because it works ;)

4️⃣ Say no to what drains you unnecessarily.

Whether it's certain activities or toxic people, learn to recognise what empties your batteries. πŸͺ«

Protect your energy like the precious resource it is by saying NO.

5️⃣ Create an awesome bedtime routine that works for you.

Forget about struggling with morning routines if they're not your cup of tea. Instead, invest in yourself at night when you're in a better disposition.

As always big shifts happen in small steps, so allow yourself to just try one at a time and see how it feels.

If you need extra support in doing so, I have a couple spots open for 1:1 private yoga & mindset sessions where we can work together to unlock your own energy potential. ✨

Take care my friend.

Lou

Hi Reader, The other day I found myself watching a video about this new workout to look lean & sexy in under 15min a day. I scrolled down and was shown a powerful meditation technique that can 10x your productivity. Then spent the next hour googling / fantasizing about this perfect body and focused mind that could be mine if only... (ofc without actually trying a single of these exercises πŸ₯²) Let's face it, the wellness & self-dev industry is NOISY. It can leave us feeling overwhelmed and...

Hi Reader, did you miss me? :) I blanked out on sending last week's NL because I was SO EXCITED about hosting my 1st yoga retreat! And it went amaziiiing 🎡 Finding SPACE was the main theme of the retreat and it was a great opportunity to reset in a supportive and quiet environment. The real flex though is how to bring this renewed energy, calm and balance within everyday conditions that are far from "perfect". When the phone is pinging every 5min, more work is added to your already full...

Hi Reader, It's good to be back! I just returned from 3 weeks in Goa (India) to connect with the land of yoga and deepen my personal practice. Do you know it was the first time I ever went to a yoga retreat? Of course I was like a kid at a candy shop πŸ˜‡ I met the most wonderful teachers, made new friends, had an 'ashram'-like experience, immersed myself in the local culture... and filled my heart to the brim. Most of us look at the turn of the year as a time to look ahead. Instead I tried to...
